Walk of the Deer

🦌 “Walk of the Deer,” a short movie written by yours truly and the incredibly talented comic writer Mathieu Gabella, tells a coming-of-age story set in the French-Swiss forests.

Inspired by a mix of “Dead Poets Society” and “Planet of the Apes: Origins,” this tale explores first love, brutality, and the search for identity in young adulthood.

Currently, in development with a 🇬🇧 production house and a lovely producer, we’ve dabbled in different formats like animation and immersive experiences, ultimately landing on live-action narration with ambitious direction.

🎥 I created and wrote the story, blending mythology, grief, and dreamlike nature. I came up with the concept, wrote the script with the amazing Mathieu Gabella (read his comics – that man is insane), and shaped the emotional arc to feel like a quiet ritual — something soft and unforgettable.
